Alku-Thai

Visitors could access a computer and browse a local website containing an extensive list of all ALKU releases and related activities from 1997 to 2005. The walls of the room were covered with the (syntax-colorized) HTML code for that website in large size fonts, in the style of the ALKU website layout. The computer was continuously running a generative HDJ script that mixed all the audio material released to that date on the label. Visitors could listen to the generative mix through wireless headphones, and were invited to take home a free CD containing an exclusive ALKU megamix recorded by a+r, entitled ALKUjiggerypokeryMIX. On the cover of the CD was the Thai word for free (which coincidentally, also means Thai in Thai).
